5 Ways to Ring in the New Year at Red Rock Casino

There’s no better place to celebrate the new year than at a Las Vegas casino. Whether it’s a live music show, a nightclub or an Only Vegas event, there are plenty of ways to ring in the new year in style at red rock casino.

On the Las Vegas Strip, tens of thousands of people party outside until midnight on New Year’s Eve. It’s one of the most popular nights of the year.

Hard Rock Cafe

The Hard Rock Cafe is a Las Vegas staple and offers a great place to party on New Year’s Eve. Enjoy a premium open bar, chef-prepared food stations, a live band, party favors and a front-row view of the fireworks show on the Strip.

A family-style buffet is available for those who want to eat on the go or grab some light fare. This buffet includes international dishes that are hard to find at other resort buffets.

A few standout restaurants have recently opened at Red Rock, including Osteria Fiorella by Marc Vetri and Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill. This restaurant is a great addition to the Summerlin area’s dining scene. It has a fantastic patio and beautiful views of the surrounding sandstone canyons.

Plaza Hotel & Casino

Located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, Plaza Hotel & Casino offers a complete destination for your New Year’s Eve. The party includes a delicious dinner at Oscar’s, great entertainment, complimentary champagne toasts, and downtown’s only live fireworks show at midnight.

For those looking for something a bit off the beaten path, Red Rock Casino offers a pool complex away from the Strip. It’s accessible to guests not staying at the property, but access is based on occupancy and can be difficult during the weekends.

The New Year’s Eve 2023 Room Package features an exclusive rooftop viewing party of the fireworks. It also includes a $50 food and beverage credit for use during your stay, as well as complimentary early check-in and late check out (based on availability).

The Ice Rink at Boulevard Pool

Each year, The Ice Rink at Boulevard Pool transforms the hotel’s iconic pool into a winter wonderland high above the Las Vegas Strip. This rink is complete with roof-top ice skating, curated drinks and food, fire pits, s’mores and breathtaking views of the Vegas skyline.

Admission to The Ice Rink is $30 for adults and $20 for locals, first responders with valid ID and military Monday through Thursday. Skate rentals cost $15 for 60 minutes and are available for an additional charge.

New Year’s Eve is an excellent time to head to the ice rink and enjoy the beautiful view of the strip. There are also plenty of other fun activities to do in Las Vegas for this special occasion.

SkyPod Indoor Observation Deck

The 1,149-foot-tall SkyPod towers above its neighboring Strip hotels. Occupying levels 108 and 109, the indoor/outdoor observation deck features the best views in town, as well as a bar to grab a cocktail and a bite.

There are also thrill rides aplenty on offer, including the Big Shot, which slingshots you to the very top of the SkyPod mast at 45 miles per hour. There’s also the Insanity, a mechanical claw that spins you 900 feet above the ground at breakneck speed.

There’s also the X-Scream, a roller coaster teetering 27 feet out from the edge of the spire. And if you’re really into the lights, there’s a 2023 “Party at the Top” which includes a DJ, party favors and a bird’s eye view of the Las Vegas Strip’s biggest fireworks display at midnight.

Legacy Club at Circa

If you’re looking for a spot to watch Las Vegas’s New Year’s Eve fireworks, Circa’s Legacy Club is the place to be. Located on the resort’s 60th floor, this rooftop lounge features exceptional views and ample seating indoors and outdoors.

The cocktail list at Legacy Club is curated and hand-picked, with a focus on premium Scotch, Bourbon, and Tequila offerings. You’ll also find a small selection of cigars, including Arturo Fuente, Montecristo, Padron, and Rocky Patel.

Despite the high-end nature of the space, the dress code is fairly strict, with swimwear, sandals, shorts, ball caps and knit hats prohibited. Gents must wear a suit and closed-toe shoes.
